CAREERS – LEAD CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead the architecture design & development, enhancement, deployment and ongoing maintenance of the firm’s monitoring and control applications using advance features of C++ and C# – OOP’s, Multithreading, STL, Data structures. Applications use Perl/Shell scripting to process and analyze monitoring data; Lead the continuous enhancement efforts to improve architecture design to support new industry standards and make the product fungible enough to allow real-time debug functionalities minimizing the product down-time; troubleshoot problems at existing installations and propose architectural changes to user needs; Coordinate with clients and senior management in understanding project requirements, conducting project feasibility studies, preparing and presenting technical designs and project proposals; Work
effectively with a team and supervise one or more junior developers on enhancement, debugging, technical documentation and support of existing applications; Manage the firm’s costs by looking for efficiency in processes and in the hiring of personnel with optimal competencies; Do market analysis to know current trends and technologies in place for control applications in the market; Participate in the development of necessary computer programs to achieve necessary integration and convert project specifications and statement of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language.
Required Education : Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer or Electrical Engineering plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
